Who?

Well, that would, of course, be me. Sean Oelkers. Of the Oelkers clan of Nebraska.

Married to Lynn, my high school sweetie. I’m working on getting her involved with my little adventure, so we’ll see how that goes…

Son named Tobias. But we call him Toby because, well, we aren’t British. Oh, and he has his own site, if you’re interested in pics and occasionally a few words about my favorite little boy. (Read from the beginning for some an interesting story of coming into the world.)

I’m unlisted in the phone book for so many reasons, none of which are particularly interesting. But you can find my contact info just about anywhere if you really try. Or even if you don’t.

My day job consists of exorcising the demons from computers most of the year. But from January through mid-April, you might discover me wrist deep in the fiduciary details of the locals, aiding them in their battle with the forces of evil. In other words, I do a bit of tax prep work with my father.

Why?

What’s this all about then? Well, whatever I happen to be doing at the point.

Recently I’ve embarked on a side business involving some internet marketing that has taken me far off onto tangents that you wouldn’t imagine something as geeky or sleazy sounding as internet marketing would. Mostly because I’m not really looking for riches in the normal sense.

As I write this, I’m on a quest. A quest for enough.

But enough what? Well, hell, I don’t know if I can define it exactly. Enough money? Well sure. Enough time? Amen. Enough peace? Absolutely. Enough truth? Why not, no need to set your sights low. Just enough.

When will I have it? Who knows.

The trip is often more important than the destination.
